Atlantic Health System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with a psych. cert. for our Psychiatry department at Morristown Medical Center. This role will work on the consult liaison service on the inpatient medical floors at Morristown Medical Center with a primary focus on patients with substance use concerns. Will also work with the Peer Recovery Program and the Medication Assisted Treatment Program. Schedule will be Mon-Fri from 9AM to 5PM. Ability to work at least one per diem weekend day a month covering the inpatient voluntary adult psychiatry unit. These hour are compensated at an additional per diem rate outside of the FT hours. Psych certification is a MUST. New grad Nurse Practitioners considered if psych certified.

Responsibilities include:

• Candidate will have the ability to utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate the plan of care for patients served. Through the model of Shared Governance, collaborate with all members of the health care team with a focus on promoting evidenced based care within a healing culture for the patient population served and their families.
• Candidate must have excellent communication and computer skills.
