Atlantic Health System is Seeking a Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse for a Great Opportunity in Northern New Jersey
Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Psychiatric Advance Practice Nurse (APN) to join our team at the Behavioral Health Assessment Center in Morristown, NJ. This is a brand-new outpatient program, and the selected candidate will have the unique opportunity to help build the program from the ground up.
The Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and crisis intervention services. The candidate should possess a minimum of 2 years of psychiatric experience and have experience working with children and adolescents. The candidate should also be comfortable working with patients of all ages and have a strong understanding of treating substance use disorders. This is a full-time position with a great schedule - no nights, holidays, or weekends required, ensuring that work-life balance is attainable.

- ANCC certified and a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
- ACLS and BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Psychiatry experience
- Experience with working with child and adolescents is preferred
- Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently
