Senior Social Worker (Military to VA)
The incumbent is a professional licensed clinical social worker whose duties and responsibilities relate to the care management of severely ill and/or injured Military to VA (M2VA) service members and Veterans treated at the San Francisco VA Medical Center or in the Community Based Outpatient Clinics. The incumbent must use a high level of skill in assessing and treating the complicated psychosocial problems of M2VA service members and/or Veterans as they transition to Veterans Affairs care. Basic Requirements: 1. United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. 2.
