Social Worker
The HCHV position provides a gateway to VA and community-based services for eligible Veterans who are homeless. The HCHV Social Worker conducts outreach and provides short-term case management services to Veterans experiencing homelessness across the state of Montana. Incumbent provides resource referral to Veterans who are at risk of homelessness and Veterans inquiring about housing assistance. Incumbent assists the HCHV Coordinator with scheduling community Stand Down events statewide. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
