The Acute Psychiatry Program Coordinator (APPC) is assigned to the Behavioral Health Service (BHS) on the Topeka campus. Provides clinical and team-based services on the acute psychiatric inpatient unit. Clinical services include psychological evaluations, psychotherapy, and treatment planning. Psychological evaluations employee a comprehensive diagnostic assessment, review of available records, collateral contact when available, as well as objective and cognitive testing when indicated. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
