Nemours Children's Hospital - Delaware is seeking a full-time, evidence-based therapist to join the Swank Autism Center in Wilmington, DE.

The Swank Autism Center at Nemours Children's Health - Delaware is seeking an evidence-based behavioral health therapist to join our team. The Autism Center provides comprehensive evaluation and intervention support services for children up to 21 years. We are seeking applicants with demonstrable training and experience working with autistic children, adolescents, and their families. This position will focus on consultation, individual and group therapy, and evaluations with patients and families from the Delaware Valley community. Experience with neuro-affirming care, cognitive behavior therapy, parent-mediated approaches, emotional regulation skill building, and/or support for transition-to-adulthood are preferred. The behavioral health therapist will join an interdisciplinary clinical team and will collaborate with providers in psychology, developmental medicine, psychiatry, and applied behavior analysis, as well as autistic colleagues and caregivers.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited social work, counseling, or marriage and family therapy program.
• Delaware independent licensure (LCSW, LPCMH, LMFT) prior to starting in the role is required (i.e., can have license in another state but must obtain DE license before starting).
• 2-5 years experience working with autistic children and/or adolescents who are autistic.
