Position Summary
The Substance Use Disorder Trainee is an exciting entry-level position assisting with the planning and coordination of counseling and educational programming services, actual implementation and delivery of prescribed services. This role will allow you to grow and hone your professional skill sets in the behavioral health sector and will allow you to provide high-quality services to your patients every day.
Responsibilities
You will perform DUI and regular assessments, develop treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and conduct individual and group counseling sessions within the provisions of MultiCares policies and standards, as well as local, state, federal and other regulatory requirements
You will assist the Substance Use Disorder Professional(s) with their assigned duties
You will provide and connect patients and professionals with accurate program and agency resources
You will enter clinical data into the agency data system
You will submit treatment applications to the determined treatment agencies
You will maintain patient chart organization and accuracy, submit letters to agencies/entities, answer and return phone calls in a timely manner, and all other duties that will assist the Substance Use Disorder Professional in their assigned duties
Requirements
Washington State Substance Use Disorder Professionals Trainee (SUDPT) Certification
Current Washington state drivers license
Proof of a safe driving record (which meets established MultiCare Standards) obtained by a motor vehicle report from the appropriate state
Pay and Benefit Expectations
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $21.25 - $30.59 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicants years of experience align.
