Peer Specialist
This position is part of the Veterans Crisis Line (VCL), Peer Support Outreach Center (PSOC). The VCL, PSOC provides peer support services and operates from Monday through Friday, 10:00 am to 10:00 pm EST. Veterans Crisis Line is a 24-hour, 7-days-a-week, 365-days a year service aimed at connecting callers worldwide to a caring, qualified VA employee. This Peer Specialist position may only be filled with a Veteran that meets statutory requirements as detailed in the qualifications section. To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 04/30/2024. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing
