Social Worker Admissions- Residential RehabilitationTreatment Program (RRTP)
Incumbent serves as an Admissions Social Worker providing initial screening of Veterans seeking admission to RRTP, provides alternant treatment recommendation where applicable, to include making referrals to community and VA resources, and providing brief case management services. The Admissions Social Worker collaborates with other services within the VA SORCC, as well as community partners. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Education: Have a master's degree in social work from a school of social work fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
