Overview:
The Columbus Psychiatry Clinic is recruiting a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their team. Will be responsible for providing assessment and evaluation, diagnosis and treatment and medication management to patients experiencing mental and behavioral health disorders in an outpatient clinic setting. The PMHNP will work collaboratively with the Psychiatrist and healthcare team to provide evidence based mental health services including but not limited to assessment and diagnosis, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, ordering of therapeutic and diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, provide patient education, prepare documentation, and initiate appropriate referrals for health care, social service programs, and community resources to meet the identified needs of the patient and family.
Shifts:
40 hrs/wk; 8a-5pm, 5 days/wk. M-F.
Qualifications:
Current NE APRN license. Graduate of a master’s, postgraduate, or doctoral degree from a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Certified by ANCC (PMHNP-BC).
