Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a Full Time RN to join our Children's Day Treatment Center team.
St. Luke's Children's Day Treatment Center serves adolescents and their families seeking a high level of mental health care while being able to return home in the evening. This program provides an environment in which youth feel valued and cared for, and where they can develop skills that will stay with them throughout their lives.
The RN will provide nursing support to both outpatient pediatric psychiatry and the partial hospitalization program as part of a nurse team. The nurse must be comfortable providing care to patients suffering anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, ADHD, and other psychiatric conditions.
Monday - Friday, day clinic hours. No weekends. No Call

Responsibilities
- Identifies patient needs and determines priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develops, implements and coordinates individualized plan of care for patients assigned through initial and on-going assessments.
- Initiates assessment based on the patient's problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.
- Performs therapeutic nursing interventions.
- Manages care of patients.
- Documents care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.
- Advocates for evidence-based practice care standards and supports adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provides patient centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice model.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's of Nursing Degree
- Experience: 1 years' experience
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pediatrics and/or psychiatry preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and part of a nurse team
