The RN reports to the inpatient mental health Nurse Manager. The Psychiatry Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates competency using the nursing process in providing care for Veterans in inpatient mental health. The RN utilizes knowledge and skills in providing holistic care to patients presenting acute mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, substance dependence & related medical conditions. Applicants pending the completion of educational or certification/licensure requirements may be referred and tentatively selected but may not be hired until all requirements are met.
